RITE Program Goes to the Rodeo |
|
On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, a group of our first and second grade students from the RITE Program were featured at the Houston Live Stock and Rodeo. They did an awesome job! The crowd congratulated our students for their reading and their sense of courage as our students showed confidence in spite of the crowd. We thank our parents, students, and teachers for showing their Exemplary abilities in reading.

Congratulations to Mrs. M. Randall (3rd Grade Math), Ms. K. Bogerty (4th Grade Math), and Ms. A. Odutayo (5th Grade Science) on being recognized as one of the:
- top-ten District 4 teachers in their discipline, and
- top ten percent of Houston ISD.

Alcott’s Vanguard Neighborhood program is designed for Gifted and Talented (GT) students who excel in general intellectual ability in combination with creative/productive thinking and/or leadership ability. Our Vanguard Neighborhood K-5 programs provide a learning continuum that is differentiated in depth, complexity, and pacing.
